Brand Profile Triumph

Triumph is one of the world's largest underwear manufacturers selling in over 120 countries and in the business of making women's underwear since 1886! That's a formidable heritage and testament to Triumph's unswerving dedication to creating high quality, comfortable, innovative and fashionable women's intimate apparel for over 100 years. Home of some of the most well-known brands including sloggi, Beautiful, Triaction, Triumph Classics and Valisere, Triumph intimates are for every woman.

Triumph Through the Decades

Since 1886 Triumph has been at the forefront of women's intimate apparel design and innovation, reflecting in its products the very latest fashions of the times - from corsetry and girdles to the finest, ultra-luxe lingerie of 2010, and everything in between, the distinctive "Triumph" trademark has adorned millions and millions of individual underwear pieces for the past 100 years.

Triumph Introduces...Lycra, Moulded Cups & the Sports Bra

The 1950s was the era of corsets while in the 1960s Triumph introduced the first use of elastane fibres we now know as Lycra and moulded bra cups that eliminated seams. In the 1970s, designs changed to express the youthful spirit of the times as expressed by young women through flower power, the sexual revolution and the miniskirt! The 1980s was all about aerobics and underwear as outerwear epitomised by the biggest female star of the decade, Madonna. Triumph created special sports bras with secure support and a high level of wearer comfort as well as corsets and bras that were feminine, fancy and perfect for wearing as items of clothing. In 1986, Triumph celebrated its 100th Birthday.

The 1990s - Organic Fabrics and The Triumph Push-Up Bra!

In the 1990s, social responsibility and a return to nature emerged as the collective ethos and Triumph responded by introducing organic cotton and nickel-free hooks and eyes. The 90s was also the era of the Push-Up Bra - a smaller woman's best friend - and the ad campaign featuring Naomi Campbell saw the brand sell more Push-Up Bras than any other single item!

Triumph's Commitment to Evolution

In this new millenium, Triumph continues to respond to the ever-evolving fashions while also innovating through new designs, new fibres and new technologies to deliver casual young fashion styles, fashionable feminine lingerie that flatters a fuller figure, state-of-the-art sports bras and ultra-high performance functional sportswear and fine luxe lingerie. To top off the collection, Triumph Shapewear is now leading the way with creative fashion colours and flocked fabrics to bring outstanding shapewear to your special occasion or everyday wardrobe.
